Irving SEO company: more calls from people searching near you

Every day, people in Irving look up what you sell on Google and Maps: the ones who live here and the ones who drive in to work. Their calls and visits go to the names that come up first. Getting yours up there is the work we do.

Irving, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On a workday, Irving holds 58,000 more people than live here

Irving is home to 256,684 people. On a workday, the city's own plan puts the count at more than 315,000, because so many drive in to work here. Wherever they are when they search, Google answers with what's close by.

  • Lives in Irving: 256,684
  • Here on a workday: about 58,000 more
  • Your business
A drawing, not a map: the dots and the shape of the day are illustrative. The dots keep the real ratio of residents to workday arrivals.

One exact phrase, searched each month

  • dentist irving tx 500 a month
  • restaurants las colinas 500 a month
  • car wash irving tx 300 a month
  • urgent care irving tx 300 a month

Monthly searches for each exact wording alone, as estimated by Ahrefs, a tool marketers use to size up Google searches. Other wordings, “near me” and taps straight into Google Maps all sit outside these counts, so each one is a single phrase, not the size of the market.

Google looks at where the searcher is

Google's help page for business listings says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance and popularity, and it defines distance as “how far each business is from the customer who's searching.” Someone at a desk in Las Colinas is shown what's near that desk.

The workday brings its own errands

The city's plan counts more than 35,000 people working in professional, management or administrative services in Irving, and another 29,000 in finance, insurance and real estate. Office days come with errands: a dentist near the office, a car wash before the drive home, lunch for the team.

If your work happens at people's homes

AC, plumbing and roofing calls come from houses, so the office crowd mostly isn't yours. The 256,684 people who live here are, and being the name they find takes the same work.

Paying by the tap, or not

Once a page ranks, the next visitor doesn't cost you

An ad on Google costs you each time someone taps it, and it disappears when the budget runs out. A page that ranks, built on your website, keeps coming up, early and late, and nobody charges you for each person it sends your way.

  • Someone taps through
  • A charge for that tap
  • A search the ad no longer shows for

Google Ads

Budget spent, ad off

Your page that ranks

The same day of searches, drawn twice. The ad is charged for every tap until its budget is gone, then sits out the evening. The page that ranks comes up for all of them, with no charge per visitor. An illustration; the dots aren't real counts.

Google Ads

Every tap is a charge

What you're charged for
Each tap on the ad, from the person ready to book and the person who looks around and leaves.
From morning to night
The ad runs while the budget lasts. Once it's spent, people nearby keep searching and your ad isn't there.
Once the money stops
The ad comes down, and nothing of it is left working for you.

A page built on your site

You pay for the work, not the visitors

What you're charged for
Building the page and improving it month by month. The monthly fee covers that work, never the people who arrive.
From morning to night
It comes up for the 7 a.m. search and the 9 p.m. one alike, with no charge per visitor.
Once the money stops
The pages stay on your website. They belong to you, not to us.

Ads that bring in paying work are worth keeping. A page that ranks runs beside them, and it's still there on the days the ad budget isn't.

SEO services, Irving

Fix it, build it, get it on the map

Three jobs, every one of them carried out on the site you already run and on your Google listing: the two places a customer checks you out before calling. You can open both and see the work for yourself.

  1. 01Fix it

Fix the things Google trips over on your site

Google can't rank a page it can't load, can't find, or can't make sense of. Those get fixed first, so everything built after them has firm ground under it.

    On the repair list

    • Pages that drag on a phone
    • Pages Google can't reach
    • Pages that leave out what you do, or where
  2. 02Build it

Add the pages people in Irving look for

One page for each service you sell, and one for each place people actually type into Google. Plenty of searches here carry the neighborhood's name, like “restaurants las colinas” and “dentist las colinas” (about 500 and 80 a month, by Ahrefs estimates), so a business in Las Colinas wants a page that says Las Colinas. Valley Ranch too, if you serve it. Places you don't serve don't get a page.

For example, an auto shop's pages

    Service pages

    • Brake repair
    • Oil change
    • Tire repair

    Place pages

    • Las Colinas
    • Valley Ranch
  3. 03On the map

Fill in your Google Business Profile

That's the listing that shows in Google Maps when someone nearby searches: your name, your pin, the button to call you. Each part of it gets filled in, so it spells out what you do and where.

After the first pages are built

  • More pages, a handful each month, for the services and places on your plan
  • Your Google listing updated as your hours, photos or services change
  • Anything on your site that stops working or slows down, fixed

The clock on each search

How soon, search by search

There's no single answer to how long SEO takes, because every search is its own race. Ahrefs, a search-data tool, scores each one from 0 to 100 for how hard it is to reach Google's first page, and Irving's scores are nowhere near alike.

Ahrefs keyword difficulty, 0–100

Higher scores mean a harder climb to Google's first page

  • pest control irving tx 0
  • auto repair irving tx 6

  • dentist irving tx 64

In the plan

Every search written down, with weeks or months beside it

The written plan names each search we'll go after and marks it weeks or months. You know what should show up first, and which need patience.

On your phone

Check it without asking us

Paying an Irving SEO company shouldn't mean waiting for a report to learn whether it's working. Three things you can look at yourself:

  • Each search in the plan, typed into Google on your own phone
  • The calls your Google listing brought in, which Google counts for you
  • The direction requests it brought in, counted in the same place

Your spot on Google isn't something anyone can promise, and we won't. Hold us to the work the plan lists instead. Every piece of it lands where you can see it: on your website and in your Google listing.

What you'd pay each month

$1,500 to $5,000 a month, set by how much ground you cover

What does an Irving SEO company cost each month? With us, somewhere in that range. Three things place your plan inside it, and you can check each one yourself.

The services and places you want covered

Every service on your menu, and every corner of Irving you want calls from, needs pages of its own. A longer list means more pages to build, then keep improving.

MoreA plumber across all of Irving plus Coppell: several sets

  2. 02

How many others want the same first page

Some Irving searches have hardly anyone competing for the first page. Others are crowded with businesses after the same spot, and showing up for those takes steadier work, month after month.

The state your site is in now

A site that loads quickly and says what you do and where is ready for new pages from the start. A slow, vague or hard-to-find one gets repaired before anything is built on it.

Who you'd be hiring

Kyle builds it. Katie keeps it on time.

Behind Bullfinch are two people, Kyle and Katie Rutten. Between them they cover the whole job: the work done on your site and your Google listing, and the plan that keeps it moving month after month.

  • Kyle Rutten at a laptop in a brick-walled office

    Hands on the work

    Kyle Rutten

Kyle is the builder: the repairs to your website, the new pages, every field on your Google profile. He was 14 when he built his first website, and he's who you'll talk to on your first call.

    The plan and the dates

    Katie Rutten

Katie runs your plan once it's signed: what gets done each month, in what order, and by when. She also looks after your account, so a question about the schedule or the bill goes to her.

No one relays your questions

You never get passed off to an account manager. Ask what got done this month, and the answer comes from the person who did it.

Six last doubts

Questions to settle before you book

The things that can stop you short of a 30-minute call, with a straight answer to each.

Anything not on this list? Ask it when we talk.

  1. 01Reports

Last time I paid for SEO, I got reports instead of calls. What's different here?

A report is someone else's account of how you're doing, and you shouldn't have to take it on faith. Your plan lists each search by name, so you can type any of them into Google on your own phone, on any day, and check where your business lands.

Your Google listing also keeps its own tally of the calls and direction requests it sends you. Google does the counting, not us.

  2. 02House calls

My crews work at people's houses. Do the office crowds matter to me?

Mostly not. When an AC quits or a pipe gives out, the search comes from the house, and those are the 256,684 people who live in Irving: Valley Ranch, North Irving, South Irving and the streets between.

So for a trade that drives out, the plan leans on where your trucks go: a page for each part of town you cover, and a service area on your Google listing that names them.

  3. 03Rankings

Can an Irving SEO company promise me first place on Google?

No. Google sets the order and reshuffles it without asking anyone, so a promised position is a promise nobody can keep. What we put our name to is the work in your plan: the repairs, the pages and the listing, carried out month after month.

  4. 04Distance

Shouldn't the people doing this be based in Irving?

We aren't in Irving. Being down the road still wouldn't change the work: every change we make lands on your website and your Google listing, and you can open both and look at it whenever you want. The part that has to be in Irving is your business, and your listing tells Google where it is and which parts of town you serve.

Our conversations happen over video, so there's never a drive across town to fit in.

  5. 05Your website

Does my website have to be replaced first?

No. We work on the one you already have. If something on it is holding Google back, putting that right becomes part of the plan, written down with everything else before you sign.

  6. 06Stopping

And if I stop, what happens to what's been built?

It stays put. The pages sit on your own website and the Google listing was always your own, so nothing is taken down or handed back. The work stops; what it built is still there for the next person who searches.

Thirty minutes, then a written plan

Be the name Irving finds tomorrow morning

Searches few businesses compete for can come around in a few weeks. The hard-fought ones need months, and none of those months go by while the decision is still on your list. Every workday until then, someone near you looks up what you sell and rings whichever business Google lists at the top.

On the call with Kyle

Sizing up an Irving SEO company shouldn't eat your afternoon. One video call on Google Meet gets through three things:

  • What you sell

The work you'd most like more calls for.

  • Where you want customers from

Las Colinas, Valley Ranch, North or South Irving, or all four.

  • The likely monthly fee

Where you'd fall between $1,500 and $5,000 a month, and what puts you there.

Choose a day and time on the next screen. Nobody asks you to sign anything on the call.
